Kelvin Warren Fletcher (born 17 January, 1984 in Oldham, Greater Manchester) first apppeared as Andy Hopwood in July 1996.

His elder half-sister is KEELEY FORSYTH, and Kelvin followed her into the Oldham Theatre Workshop at the age of seven. He made his television debut in a report on the workshop for Saturday Disney. At the time he was playing Charlie in Charlie My Darling, and he would go on to perform the role at a special London Palladium show. Another early theatre role was playing the lead in Tom Sawyer.

Kelvins' first TV acting role was in childrens' school drama Three Seven Eleven in 1994. Other roles came in shows including Cracker and Heartbeat (1995), before landing his role in Emmerdale.

Other TV appearances have included Russian Roulette (2003) with TIM VINCENT, All-Star poker Challenge (2005) and All Star Family Fortunes (2010). He also co-presented an episode of You've Been Framed with Jeremy Beadle.

Although Kelvin has ambitions to try other acting roles in the future, he is very happy at Emmerdale at the moment. In a 2012 Daily Record interview he said: "You always want to push yourself and the thought of playing another character fills me with excitement. I am so eager to do it but it’s got to be the right time. I am still loving playing my character here, still loving the place I am working."

Kelvin began playing rugby league when he was seven, and was a national champion at Inline Hockey in 1998. In 2011 he was part of Team Emmerdale which cycled 224 miles from the Emmerdale set in Harewood to the EastEnders set in Elstree in less than 22 hours. He also drives rally cars and motorbikes.
