Episodes released on DVD

On 15 October 2007, to mark Emmerdale's 35th birthday, the show became available to buy on DVD for the first time. As well as a 4 disc set containing Season 1a, an additional two disc set The Best of Emmerdale, containing 14 episodes from 1993 - 2006 was released. Both sets were also available as a six-disc set entitled "Emmerdale 35th Anniversary Edition". Volume 2 of Emmerdale Farm, containing Season 1b, was released on 14 September 2009, while a third volume containing Season 1c and the first six episodes of Season 2a was released on 30 May 2011.
